Annual Fund

With every $4,000 raised collectively, a part of the annual fund flower outside the office will bloom into color. Please help our flower bloom! Every donation counts, whether you can give the suggested $400 per child or any another amount. In addition to the school flower, there are also flowers posted outside each classroom measuring classroom participation. Classrooms with 100% participation at any donation level will earn prizes such as a popsicle or pizza party, extra recess, the chance to silly string Ms. Cofield, and more! Donate today and watch your classroom flowers bloom too! To find out how annual fund donations benefit your children, please click here. You can donate by check, cash, or through the AES PTA online store using your credit card. Contact us if you’d like to set up a payment plan.

Parent Workshop ¨Conscious and Positive Parenting,” Wednesday, September 14th, 8:15 AM in the Parents Center, Room 18

Please join us for our first Parenting Workshop of this school year, with a correction. Our presenter will be Dr. Erica Stephenson. Conscious and Positive Parenting is parenting with a plan for a positive outcome.  To achieve this goal, as in all other goals in life, be it career or otherwise, we parents need to identify a plan of action, a template for enabling our children to ultimately achieve true happiness in life. Please come to hear about strategies and plans of action to help our children thrive and grow in an emotionally intelligent environment!

Coffee and Refreshments will be served to all attending parents.

Sign Up to Make our School Beautiful!  September 17, 9 AM to 2 PM

Volunteers are needed for the first ‘School Beautification Committee’ effort this Saturday the 17th!! Only 3 people have signed up so far. We will clean out some overgrown areas and other odd-jobs to fix-up the campus. Some extra gardening tools will be on hand, but bring some if you can. Sign up here so we can get a better head-and-tool count. Of course you can just show up, there is a job for everyone.

We’ve secured a donation of bagels by Western Bagel, but are still looking for food and drink donations for the volunteers. Please, let us know if you can help.
